qmtseamen test of navigation units which allow to estimate the position relative to the starting point, as well as other data such as speed, roll, pitch, heading, ...
Information from the navigation center is broadcast in the form of messages for use by other vehicle systems. qmtseamen controls and analyzes the distribution of these messages which must meet very strict criteria of encoding, transmission periodicity, values contained, transmission latency, etc.
qmtseamen has been specifically developed to test naval navigation systems in two real-time operating modes. The analysis mode makes it possible to check the quality of the messages broadcast very precisely, while the simulation mode makes it possible to replace navigation equipment, by broadcasting the messages as in real conditions.
