In order to offer ever more efficient solutions, QMT started the development of standard equipment in 2007. These are intended for the following applications: quality control - sorting machine - watch industry.
In order to carry out larger projects efficiently and with significant technical challenges, a project-oriented structure has been put in place. She is a major asset for Qualimatest.
During the years 2003 to 2006, QMT invested in its organization in order to define efficient processes for the development, deployment and maintenance of industrial systems. This organization allowed the quality certification of the company in 2003 and the creation of a strong center of competence in project management.
Its rapid rise and its dynamic earned it, in 1995, the Credit Suisse Prize for technological innovation (Technologiestandort Schweiz).
QMT was founded in 1989 by a group of engineers specializing in materials, mechanics, measurement technology and computer science. Since its founding, QMT has introduced digital imaging for microscopy. In 1991, QMT began a technological partnership with National Instruments for the development of its own installations and developed Multimicro, a motorized image analyzer with automatic microhardness measurement.
