Sales Engineer for electrical engineering and energy

qmt develops and integrates advanced mechatronic solutions using sometimes complex hardware and software technologies. Growing company, thanks to its innovative products and in line with market needs, it wishes to hire a Sales Engineer specialized in the electrical engineering and energy industries.

Mission

The main mission will be to develop the electrical engineering and energy sectors in France and Switzerland, in line with strategic objectives. Showing the competitive advantages brought by innovative and high-tech test and quality control solutions, he will create a privileged relationship with prospects and his client portfolio. Developing a business network thanks to his credibility and his skills, he will also take care to maintain and develop sales to existing customers. Understanding perfectly the concrete needs of the clients, he will guide the projects while taking care to answer the problem posed within the framework of our Made For You (M4U) program . Researching and identifying new strategic opportunities, he will validate and qualify them in close collaboration with Management. Producing success, growth and customer satisfaction, the chosen candidate will have the chance to grow within an SME whose values are agility, reliability to build excellence.

responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of customers and prospects to market capital goods, products or tailor-made solutions adapted to its customers
  • Analyze and understand customer needs in the electrical engineering and energy sectors
  • Write a commercial proposal in accordance with the consultation procedures
  • Ensure commercial prospecting to expand the client portfolio
  • Develop and promote the offer of products and services of the company by being force of proposal to direct the improvement of our existing products and participate actively in the process of innovation of Qualimatest.
  • Ensure reporting of its results with regard to the assigned objectives
  • Participate in communications actions and lead professional networks (skills center, clusters, ...)
Desired profile

We are speaking to a sales engineer, with higher education, with double technical and commercial skills, with successful experience in the sale of investment goods developed according to specifications. Already having an established and active network in electrical engineering or energy, it is able to identify and target customers potentially interested in the products and solutions offered. Favoring business that leads to long-term collaboration, he knows how to transcribe the needs of each client into projects and processes. He can then sell them internally and ensure their perfect realization. Knowing the market prices, he is able to formulate a realistic offer in line with the real needs of customers and in line with Management's strategy. Capable of identifying and discovering new markets, he has the intuition of the products which will have the best success and will be able to transform them into strategic opportunities. Autonomy, thoroughness, charisma and finesse are the dominant traits expected. Fluent in French and English, each additional language will be a welcome asset.
