Sorting machines for Raymond Dubosson
Raymond Dubosson is a company specialized in bar turning from diameter 1 up to 25mm, with integration of 100% automatic sorting in order to respond to 0 faults. qmt has developed a Fit For You sorting machine based on a QMTInspect-200 for the control and sorting of gear parts.
We produce very technical parts and our team is concerned with the quality of our work during each stage of manufacturing.
For this project, our client requires great rigor in terms of machining and appearance because these parts are components of a complex mechatronic system and a bad appearance could cause unpleasant operation for end users.
qmt was the only one able to respond to our problem of impact control by aspect control.
After a first meeting with the sales team, qmt offered us a demonstration with our parts in their vision laboratory, the tests were very successful which motivated us to work together.

The user-friendliness of the machine control, a simple and clear centralized operator interface is proposed for the management of the machine and controls on the same screen, no need to enter the program to modify the inspections.
- Fit For You, qmt offered us, on the basis of a QMTInspect-200 machine, a tailor-made supply and control system, perfectly adapted to our needs.
- The precision and repeatability of the dimensional checks managed respectively by QMTMesure-Expert and QMTSubface are excellent.
- The documentation provided at the end of the project is clear and very useful.
First of all, qmt will support us for this new machine with service (maintenance contract) and training ( qmt is registered as a training provider in France).
For the rest, the other qmt solutions are also adapted to our control needs, being able to work on other machines, control station or measuring devices with the same platform is interesting.

The control program is carried out using an intuitive interface comprising program models, standard control equations and functions which automatically detect and propose the characteristics of the part. The operator can thus select the controls and define the tolerances, the control program is thus created automatically. The possibility is also offered to add functions available in the QMTStore or to develop a personalized function through the Fit For You program.
the light is under the room in relation to the camera, this lighting only allows to visualize and measure the outline of the room but with very high precision.
The software for high precision dimensional measurement without any programming
Simply select the desired measurement function, place the part in the measurement area and read the measurement results on the screen. QMTMesure-Base includes a list of basic functions, options for advanced functions but also the possibility of adding personalized functions through the Fit For You program.
